About Belton House
This fine seventeenth century gentleman’s residence is only three miles north-east of Grantham. Built by the Brownlow family the house was visited by the future Edward VIII and Mrs Simpson and later by Prince Charles
Belton House became Rosings Park, the home of Lady Catherine de Bourgh, in the popular 1990s BBC version of Pride and Prejudice.

Our view of the house is the north front which overlooks the formal gardens.
The building is in the care of the National Trust.
