About Gainsbrough Old Hall
This timber framed fifteenth century manor house was originally in the countryside close to the River Trent to the north of Gainsborough. Now surrounded by streets it still retains much of its original charm and the rooms are displayed in their period style.
Our view of the Hall is from the south with the great hall and staircase in the centre and the two domestic wings to each side.
The building is in the joint care of English Heritage and Lincolnshire County Council.
